Sustainability Policy

Banjos Bead House is committed to implementing business practices that will contribute to a more sustainable world.

• we use paper bags or re-usable cloth bags for packing orders in store
• when we package products for sale we use paper based or re-usable packaging
• when presenting products for sale in store we use re-usable jars, bags and bowls
• we encourage customers to return tube and white zip-lock bags and other packaging which we clean and re-use
• when packaging on-line orders we use card board boxes made from re-cycled materials
• we re-cycle cardboard boxes and bubble wrap that we receive stock in to pack on-line orders
• we recycle all zip lock plastic bags that we receive stock in
• we buy in bulk to reduce our carbon footprint and decant into retail packaging
• many of our major suppliers use sustainable packing practices
